What time does it start?

How much does it cost?
Admission for the Star-Spangled Salute concert and fireworks celebration is FREE. All "Fun Zone" activities are also free of charge. There will be food and beverages available for purchase.
Where is it?
All activities will take place at Hogan Park, 1201 E. Wadley Avenue. Click here to view maps.
Where is the Fireworks Firing Site?
The fireworks will be launched from a secured/fenced location within the grounds of Hogan park (parking lot adjacent to softball fields). All patrons seated in the soccer fields area will have an excellent view of the display. NO ENTRY is permitted within the firing site perimeter.
Can I bring a cooler?
NO. Outside coolers will not be allowed on the grounds. There will be tons of great options to purchase food and beverages from our vendors!
Will there be alcoholic drinks?
Yes. There will be a "Beer Garden" at the event. All alcohol must be purchased/consumed within the fenced area which INCLUDES the soccer fields / primary seating area.
What should I bring?
Lawn chairs and/or blankets for seating are recommended. You may also choose to bring a small umbrella for shade - Please be courteous of those around you and DO NOT bring large umbrellas that would block the view for others. Shade tents/canopies are NOT permitted.
Is anything else PROHIBITED?
The following items/actions are STRICTLY PROHIBITED on the event grounds:
- Smoking on soccer fields (smoking will be permitted in some areas - see map for designated areas)

Last year, over 45,000* people attended the Star-Spangled Salute! We expect another great crowd in 2019!

When you enter the Star-Spangled Salute event, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the event premises, you consent to photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by the Midland Chamber of Commerce (including its affiliates and representatives), The City of Midland, Midland County and VisitMidland (herein after referred to collectively as Event Producers). Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar events in the future and highlight the event. You release Event Producers, their officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or sound recordings. By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, web casting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by Event Producers or the person or entity designated to do so by Event Producers. You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the event.
